When I get to AF tech school?

I'm really hoping that my permanent duty station will be in AZ either Luke AFB in PHX or Davis Monthan AFB in TUC. I understand that it's really no guarantee that I will get either one of those AFB's. So my question is,is that if someone in Tech school has either one if those bases could I ask him/her to switch(if they're willing)? If my job is available on either one of those bases but I just happened to not get stationed there do you think me asking someone to switch is a total pipe dream or should I give it a shot? I would prefer airmen to answer this question but I'm open to any intelligent feedback.
