Student Priced Software as a High School Student?

I was just wondering if it is possible to get the academic price of say, Cubase 5, Sonar 8, or Ableton Live 8, or any other high end, expensive software, as a high school student, or is it only available to college students, or students enrolled into cles based around the program? I have looked at their definitions of who can get the academic price, and it wasn't very descriptive. Thanks.
